Hey everyone. I'm looking at a repossessed 2021 Toyota RAV4 on the CarPlusMotors website. The price seems really good, almost too good. I've never gone through an online auction before and I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing being a scam. Are these guys for real? Any experiences to share?

You're good to go. I bought a 2020 Ram 1500 from them last year. Solid deal. I was most worried about getting the title, but it was a smooth process. The clear title arrived with the truck when it was delivered. They handled all the paperwork with the bank. I'd use them again.

I second that. I bought a Sea Ray boat. The condition report was surprisingly accurate. Great value. Don't hesitate.

I ended up just calling their support number and the agent who helped me was fantastic and answered all my questions right away. The car arrived a day later than planned but the delivery company was very communicative. Happy overall.

@Cautious_Carla That's been my experience with most online businesses, calling is always faster. I've bought 4 vehicles from CarPlusMotors over the past few years. They are as legit as they come in the repo world. They're not a retail dealer so expect an 'as-is' sale, but they're very transparent about it.

I didn't, I just relied on their detailed condition report and the photos on the website. For the Jeep Wrangler I bought, the report was spot-on. What really sold me was the title process. I wasn't going to chase paperwork. CarPlusMotors handled it all, and the clean title was delivered right to my door with the vehicle. No liens, no stories. That's worth a lot.

Love my Outback from them! The bidding was actually kind of fun lol. The website is easy to use and track your bids. I probably saved 4k compared to a normal dealer.

A friend of mine bought a Sienna from CarPlusMotors and asked me to check it out when it arrived since I do my own work. I was impressed. Everything in the condition report matched up. It needed new brakes, which was clearly stated, but the engine and transmission were solid. They are honest about the condition.

Good experience here too. Got a 4Runner. There was a minor scratch on the rear bumper that wasn't super clear in the photos but it's a 4 year old truck, so I wasn't expecting perfection. For the price I paid, I'm thrilled.

They're a volume business, so don't expect hand-holding like at a Lexus dealer, but they are efficient and professional. I had a question about the payment process and the person I spoke to on the phone was very knowledgeable.
