I couldn't find much information on google about Car Plus Motors. Anybody worked with them?

Hi everyone. I stumbled upon Car Plus Motors and the prices on some of their repossessed vehicles seem almost too good to be true. I couldn't find a ton of reviews on Google. Is Car Plus Motors a legitimate company? Has anyone here actually bought from them? A bit nervous about buying a car from an online auction.
Hey, welcome. Yeah, they are legit. I bought a 2022 Ford F-150 from CarPlusMotors six months ago. The process was straightforward. Honestly, I was worried about the title transfer, but I was relieved when the clear title was delivered by FedEx right along with the truck. They handle all the paperwork with the bank. It was a very smooth process.
I can second that. My husband and I got a Honda CR-V from them last year. The pictures on their website, carplusmotors.com, were very detailed and the car was exactly as shown. No bad surprises. We'd definitely use them again.
NervousBuyer_89, the key is to remember they are a repo auction house, not a standard dealership. You need to do your due diligence on the car you want. Read the inspection reports they provide on the carplusmotors.com site. For what they are, Car Plus Motors is one of the most reputable I've dealt with. I've bought three project cars from them over the years.
My experience was 95% positive. Snagged a great deal on a Sea Ray sports yacht. My only small issue was a slight delay in delivery. The car carrier company scheduled it for Tuesday but it arrived on Thursday. They did keep me in the loop with calls, so it wasn't a huge deal. The boat itself was perfect.
BoatingBill, that's pretty common for vehicle transport anywhere, tbh. Not really on Car Plus Motors themselves. We had a one-day delay on our Fleetwood RV, but the vehicle was in even better shape than we hoped for the price.
My brother-in-law won a Jeep Grand Cherokee from CarPlusMotors and had me look it over the day it arrived. I put it on my lift and did a full inspection. Condition was exactly as stated in their report. The underbody was clean and there were no hidden issues. I was impressed with the accuracy.
For me, the best part was not having to chase down the title from a bank or credit union. I was worried it would be a headache. But no issues with the title at all. Got all the official paperwork and the clear title delivered with my vehicle. Car Plus Motors made it really simple.
Just want to add my two cents. I had a question about the bidding process and it took them about a day to get back to my email to office@carplusmotors.com. I got a little impatient and just called the number on the site. The agent who picked up was super helpful and cleared up my confusion right away. So my tip is just call if you have an urgent question. I ended up winning a nice Audi A4.
The carplusmotors.com website is pretty easy to navigate. Found my Tacoma, placed my bid, and won it without any tech issues. Everything is tracked in your account dashboard, which is nice.
Just chiming in to say I got a Mustang GT from them. A real beast. Had a local inspector check it out post-delivery and he confirmed it's solid. Great find.
Wow, thank you all for the detailed replies! This is incredibly helpful and puts my mind at ease, especially hearing the positive stories about getting clear titles. Feeling a lot more confident about this.
It's not just cars! We bought a Bennington pontoon boat from Car Plus Motors this spring. The family has been out on the lake every weekend. Great deal and a smooth transaction.
@NervousBuyer_89 Glad to help. Just remember to factor in the auction fee and transport costs when you're setting your max bid. It's all explained on their site but it's easy to forget in the heat of bidding.
Good point GarageKing_75. But even with the fees it was still thousands less than any dealer was asking for a comparable F-150. Well worth it.
Thanks! I've picked out a nice looking RAV4. Going to place my bid tonight. Appreciate this community!
